The design is informed by the iconic architectural language of the Salah Al Din Citadel in Cairo, with particular emphasis on the concepts of the void and the circle—two enduring spatial and symbolic constructs within Islamic architecture. By articulating a central void and examining the formal, ornamental, and metaphysical manifestations of the circle across Islamic geometry, calligraphy, social rituals, and religious practice, the building’s spatial logic emerges. The resulting form is conceived to command visual attention within its urban context, operating both formally and symbolically as a minaret. The tower functions as an architectural metaphor for transcendence, echoing the vertical and spiritual progression from earth to sky commonly experienced in Islamic courtyards and sacred spaces.
